The Smoke Grenades are a type of grenade used in both Classic Mode and Battle Royale Mode. You have the ability to throw the Smoke Grenade from a short to medium range. Roughly 1 second after the Smoke Grenade stops bouncing, it produces a cloud of white square polygons, with a typical coverage of about 2 players tall and 2-3 players wide. You can throw a single Smoke Grenade once every half second, and they last approximately 15 seconds. The purpose of the Smoke Grenade is to provide cover to a player or to confuse and disorient an enemy in various ways.
Capacity and Use[]
In Battle Royale Mode, picking up a Smoke Grenade item will give you 5 Smoke Grenades, and you can carry as many as your backpack inventory will allow you to. In Classic Mode, you get 10 Smoke Grenades pre-loaded into your inventory per life. After you used all of them, your inventory will auto-switch to your normal Grenades (if any are left). To use the Smoke Grenade, tap the '5' key (by default) when you want to switch to your grenade slot, aim where you want it to be thrown, and press Fire Weapon (mouse left-click by default). Normally pressing the '5' the first time will take you to your normal Grenades, if you want to switch to Smoke Grenades without having to waste all your normal Grenades, you can tap the '5' key a second time with the Grenades equipped to switch to the next type.
Appearance[]
The Smoke Grenade is shaped like a cylinder, with an overall beige-green color scheme. It has 2 orange stripes, one on the top and one at the bottom. There is also a white stripe near the bottom orange stripe. It also features the same safety pin and safety lever design as the normal Grenade. It is most likely an M18 Smoke.
After the grenade deploys the smoke, you will not be able to see through it at all. You will know when the smoke effect is ending by the gradual clearing of the polygons and being able to see through parts of the smoke.
Trivia[]
- The Smoke Grenade is an excellent way to cover a player with the Package in the Package Delivery mode, or the path of the tank in Move the Tank mode.
- Unlike the clouds in game, you cannot see a player's name outline and health bar through smoke, so don't hesitate to move within or behind the smokescreen
- The Smoke Grenade used to deal damage; JoJa15 is the only one who tried it out and he had terrible accuracy, 0%.
