The RPG is an anti-vehicle weapon.
Performance[]
The RPG is a powerful weapon used for its anti-vehicle capabilities, though some players attempt to use it against other players. It is similar to the Homing Missile, but it does not lock on to a target. It is effective at short-to-long distances, but its splash damage makes it dangerous to any user at close range with low health. Its reloading speed is very slow, but it does massive amounts of damage to any vehicle, easily able to one-shot APCs, Tanks with 800 health points or less, and aircraft (Jets and Helicopters) without a direct hit,

Players holding the RPG and Homing Missile
This launcher deals 800 damage to land vehicles and 700 damage to aircraft. To a player, it takes two direct hits to kill them. In any map with multiple types of vehicles, you will most certainly see the RPG being used.
Design[]
The RPG is based on the RPG-7 recoil-less missile launcher which, contrary to popular belief, does not stand for "Rocket Propelled Grenade". Instead, it means Ruchnoy Protivotankoviy Granatomyot (Ручной Противотанковый Гранатомёт) or Hand-held Anti-tank Rocket Launcher. It has a long cylinder for a body, with the rocket tip coming out of the front.
Tips[]
- The RPG is a rather slow-moving rocket (though much faster than its Homing Missile counterpart). However, with the help of its enormous blast radius, you can still cause crippling damage to vehicles by aiming at objects nearby, like a wall, a post, or most commonly, the ground.
- Although it is not as practical, the RPG's blast radius can be used for PvP situations. A common tactic used to kill opponents with the RPG usually involves weakening the enemy with a gun before shooting at the ground in front or near the enemy, usually when said enemy has about 100 health or less.
- Despite being an extremely effective anti-ground vehicle weapon, the RPG can be used to take down airborne vehicles as well. This is usually done when the vehicle attacks a person, effectively allowing a player to easily line a shot up with the vehicle. Bear in mind, the RPG is a heavy weapon and thus limits your speed, making you slower than normal. When fighting a helicopter with an RPG, the most effective times to strike are either shooting the ground or a nearby object to severely cripple it.
- The RPG, contrary to popular belief isn't that bad in PvP situations, altough you would fare much better with some guns. Some strategies include shooting an RPG at a sniper in the Area 15 base to weaken them; this usually chips off at least 100 health points from splash damage, 150 if it's a direct bodyshot, or 200 on a headshot. This strategy is effectively used when there are a lot of players huddled up in one place which is too far for assault rifles to shoot them (e.g. the towers in the Area 15 base)
