Northwest is a Russian airport and nuclear power plant with a train station and a small town, all surrounded by a ring of high, snowy mountains. One team spawns at the airport, the main building of which can be climbed. The airport complex includes a runway, a number of large hangars, and a carpark. Going straight forward out of the airport, three small mountains can be climbed up and over to get to the nuclear power plant. Near the airport carpark, there is a road that is lined with shops, stores, and other small buildings. The nuclear power plant features a train station and train yard, as well as two nuclear reactors and a large warehouse. There is also a large hill to the side of the power plant. Running down the middle of the map is a road, with tunnels at either end.

The original Northwest map.

This map's battles will either be sniper-based or CQC-based depending on the players. The tall buildings and hills provide overlook positions for people to snipe at each other. The flat and open areas in the airport and power plant are good CQC conditions. Both teams get a Helicopter Level-2, a Fin-1 Fighter Jet, an APC Level-2, and a Tank Level-2, (all being Level 2) so a vehicle-filled battle is in store. There isn't one specific type of combat this map is good for, so try to see what others are doing and go off of that.
