The LMG is light machine gun released in v462 (March 25, 2022).
Design[]
The LMG is modeled after the M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle (a.k.a. the BAR), an American LMG first introduced in WWI but more known for its use in WWII. It features a wooden stock and handguard with a nickel finish for the remainder of the model. There is a barrel on the top, and a gas blowback tube at the bottom.
Performance[]
The LMG is often compared to the AK Rifle and Hunting Rifle due to its position in the middle of the two in terms of fire rate, and because it would be used in relevant ranges for those two weapons. While it has less damage than the Hunting Rifle, but more than the AK, the LMG does more damage per second than the Hunting and less than the AK. This places LMG as a mid-tier, mid-range weapon. The LMG's nuance comes in the form of greater vehicle damage to ground vehicles. This means that on vehicle-heavy maps, the LMG may be a better option than the AK, while on others, the AK may be a better option. In Classic and 4v4, the weapon features no scope. This results in the Hunting Rifle being a possible option over the LMG when fighting in ranges where a scope is beneficial.

Trivia[]
- On release, players mistook the LMG as a slower weapon due to issues with the firing sound playing at a slower rate than its fire rate.
- Though the bolt is on the left of the gun, the player racks the right side of the gun, as if there is a bolt there.
- This is the fifth weapon to accept a Laser, the other three being the Pistol, AR Rifle, SMG, and VEK SMG.
- The LMG used to hold 20 rounds until v476 (August 19, 2022) after developer JoJa15 threw around the idea of buffing the LMG to use the real life 40 magazine variation. While the LMG uses a real magazine option for the BAR, the model's appearance suggests it is using the 20 round default.
- The LMG uses rifle ammo in the Battle Royale and Death Match Royale game modes.
