Overview
This map takes place inside the kitchen of one of the BR houses. Loosely based off of CSGO Rats, the player is extremely tiny making the kitchen massive.
Layout[]
The kitchen includes a table in the center, an appliances area, some shelves and bookcases, and a big clock. There is a network of tunnels throughout the kitchen counter.
Each side has three APC Lvl-1s, one Tank Lvl-1, and one Heli Lvl-1 to use to get around the map.
Gameplay[]
Due to the small player size, there is a lot of cover and positions that players can access. However, the spawns are in clear view of each other, making sniping from across the map extremely easy. APCs often charge into the other team's spawn zone throughout the game, with the slower tanks rumbling forward in their wake.
The large kitchen causes chaotic fighting styles. Most players opt to charge straight into the action, although a few may take the time to flank and reach an advantageous position. Often times the table in the middle is a focus point, with players parachuting onto it or fighting under it.
Strategies[]
Due to a large number of vehicles, anti-armor weapons are important. If you are being pummeled by enemy armor, then it may be a good idea to swap out that sniper for an RPG. The chaotic fighting means that there is a lot of close-quarters combat, making an automatic weapon essential. At the same time, vantage points provide good sightlines and cover, making sniping a viable option. Power positions include the clocks, tabletops, and cabinets.
The bottom level of the map beneath the table offers the most direct way to the enemy spawn, although it can be particularly hazardous due to the lack of cover, meaning that it may be wiser to hunker down in a power position or find an alternate path to the front lines. Vehicles can be effective in shock and awe tactics, but be mindful of anti-armor weapons.
Overall, expect a chaotic and fast paced battle. Be mindful of your surroundings and stay mobile, even if you're hanging back in the rear, as the enemy can attack from practically any angle. Whether you enjoy running in guns blazing, or setting up shop and picking off stragglers, this map will cater to your playstyle!
You will also die (self destruct) if you walk onto the frying pan on the kitchen counter.
Easter Eggs[]
This map includes possibly the largest number of Easter Eggs out of any of the maps;
- A mini Skull Island is on a table, as the decoration inside a spider tank.
- A picture of three players in bunny suits is framed. These are the giant bunnies that are the boss in ZBR, with this kitchen being part of their home, hence why it is so large.
- A drawn family photo is labeled with the name of the game creator, JoJa15, and Lupus the map creator.
- The windows show the view of the BR stadium and train wreck. The view out the window lines up with a window on a house in the BR map.
