Hay Head was originally released in the store as the Scarecrow during the 2019 Thanksgiving event for 1600 coins. Players would get the skin and face as well as the hat. Along with the scarecrow came a wheat stock item which was previously included with the farmer outfit.

On November 29, 2022, a triggered version paired with the Cyan Glowing Eyes was sold for 1400 coins.
