Gold Mine V2 is a medium Classic map that released in v511 (December 19, 2024) as an updated version of Gold Mine. The changes came following reports of various exploits, including an out of bounds glitch and a grenade exploit that killed players through floors. Players were also dissatisfied with the size and open nature of Gold Mine which led to constant combat with enemies that had spawn protection, and involved a lot of small movement that was more akin to 4v4 maps.
The features of the old map can be seen in the bottom left corner of the map where open vertical shaft with Old Western–themed lodging throughout the mine was visible. Rock piles provide some cover for snipers along the upper ring and a few tunnels wrap through the rocky foundations. This is tweaked upon and then expanded outward to form a much larger map.

Strategy[]
Similar to Gold Mine, the map is often controlled by CQC. Many players will use rifles. Just like the original Gold Mine, sniping is a common strategy used. The tunnels are still viable points for hiding, but some are dead ends. (Come back later for better up-to-date information.)

- This was the third released map to receive a significant alteration, and the second to be presented as an alternative map
- Northwest was the first, having a complete rework
- Tribute had the first alternate map seen in Cyberpunk Tribute
- Of the 10 Easter eggs in Gold Mine, half of them were removed as a result of map edits
