The Gingerbread Man is both a player outfit and an enemy for Christmas events.
Player Outfit[]
The Gingerbread Man was originally available during the Holiday Event 2019 for 1000 
in the store. Just prior to the market rebalance in December of 2020, the outfit made its return as part of the Jolly Yuletide collection. Here it was sold in the new upcoming rarity system as a Legendary for 700 . Following the market rebalance's completion, the outfit would receive the name "Gingerdread" December 2021 and be sold for 400 .
It does not appear to have made it to the third generation of the market, instead being shelved while new cosmetics have been put out.

Enemy[]
The Gingerbread Man as an enemy was first seen as as a self-destructing enemy in 2019. This would later be recycled into the Chick for Easter.
Since the introduction of ZDC in Christmas 2021, Gingerbread Men have been featured as a cloning enemy—quite the deadly aspect. These enemies start as a larger monster that on "death" will duplicate into two regular sized clones. If one of these clones die, that clone then splits into two smaller sized clones. Upon killing the small clones, they are properly killed. One Gingerbread holds a total of seven enemies (the parent, the two main clones, and the four subsequent child clones). If players kill without thinking they could very quickly swarm themselves with an army of child clones and be overwhelmed.
