The G3A3 is a powerful automatic rifle that boasts considerable range against the assault rifles. It was modeled and tuned by developer ZaBaboon before its release in v502 (June 21, 2024). Its release was a big surprise considering the lineup of weapons already confirmed to be waiting on release.
As it was modeled by a developer, it does not use an existing model provided by Synty. The model takes inspiration from the real Heckler and Koch G3A3. The main body is black with dark mint colored portions along the barrel, grip, and butt of the gun.
There is no attachment difference between Standard and Survival modes, making the default experience the same across all game modes. The G3A3 uses Rifle Ammo . Each G3A3 comes with 20 rounds loaded.
Performance[]
The G3A3 is a specialized weapon that focuses on performance in the right hands and is mostly comparable to the assault rifles. It boasts an incredible 63 base damage, allowing it to kill in three head shots, and fires at an astounding 9 - 10 RPS (exact fire rate unconfirmed). At such a speed, the G3A3 can kill faster than the AK Rifle known for domination of the close medium ranges. Further to its benefit is its range. The G3A3 does not suffer any damage drop until 152.4m, with a linear decline of 90% damage until 304.8m away from a target. Assault rifles begin their damage drop at 100m and suffer a similar 90% linear decline in damage until around 150m to 200m depending on the exact assault rifle. On paper the G3A3 is a faster weapon with damage that rivals the AK Rifle and much better range. This does not necessarily make the G3A3 the better option.
Against the assault rifles, the G3A3 lacks a scope and only holds 20 rounds compared to the 30 to 40 rounds the assault rifles hold. While a 2x Scope is not a massive magnification, the assault rifles have shown to use the magnification to great effect in close medium combat ranges. The G3A3 not only operates well within the close medium ranges, but further out in medium ranges to approach long range where it could benefit from a 2x Scope or 4x Scope to get clearer shots on targets. It is instead left with iron sights, forcing the player to be more accurate with weapon control to effectively use the G3A3. Unlike the LMG—an alternative to assault rifles with high range and high anti-vehicle damage—crouching does not help to keep the gun more stable and reduce recoil.
The G3A3 is ultimately very powerful when only personnel need to be focused on, and may pair well alongside weapons like the RPG to remove vehicle concerns; though this may then open up long range vulnerabilities against enemy snipers. 20 rounds keeps the weapon in check, forcing players to be more controlled with their fire to not get caught out reloading mid-combat. The G3A3 is a very solid option to choose, but may not have the flexibility in the powerful and trusty assault rifles with 10 more rounds to work with per magazine and a 2x Scope to support aiming in the medium ranges.
Hipfiring with the G3A3 provides a moderate amount of spread. This puts it in check for close quarters where the SMG family of weapons benefit from the faster reactions granted by hipfiring. While the fire rate is yet to be confirmed, if the G3A3 sits at a mighty 10 RPS then the SMG is tied with the G3A3 for fire rate and damage. This could be a concern where the SMG has tied DPS performance with the G3A3 with less range, but ultimately the ability to quickly move between hipfire and ADS with low recoil and high control should keep the SMG and its siblings in consideration for CQC.

Trivia[]
- When equipped, the POV of the weapon will use its own arms instead of arms that match the player's equipped uniform. The arms do not match with any existing uniform.
