Easter Eggs in War Brokers are a mixture of repeat occurrences of something across many maps, secret rooms, and references to other games or users.
Locations[]
JoJa's Pizza[]
A pizza chain and its delivery cars can be found in a variety of maps. This fictional chain of restaurants is named after the head developer, JoJa15.
Rocky X (Film)[]
Cinemas showing the 10th instalment of the Rocky film, ROCKY VS. SILK, are in various city-themed maps. The film references two developers; Rocky and Silk Spider.
Curl Up and Dye[]
A chain of barber stores/salons commonly found in city-themed maps. Its name is a barber-themed pun of the phrase "Curl up and die", a phrase that imposes existential dread. Some maps like Pacific may hold more than one of these stores.
Crash Test Dummy[]
The first custom-made skin made for War Brokers, but never released. Referred to as the unofficial mascot for the game after the developer, Silk Spider, referred to it as such when asked about if the skin would release publicly. His response to the question:
"I've debated on the crash test dummy. He's like our mascot"
The dummy can be found strewn on pacific or mentioned in splash text.
The Temple Tomb[]
Perhaps War Brokers' most-known Easter Egg. Any veteran player will have heard of the secret room hidden in Temple, though those that have found it are fewer.
Tribute to xpldnbrrl (brrl) — Frontier[]
Brrl was a very notable figure in the community who took up the mantle of head wiki admin in 2019 after finding it abandoned by the original owner/creator from 2018. After quitting the game and community in late 2020, Lupus suggested a tribute be made to him. Though he changed his look often, the pig head and Russian hat were key parts of his outfit across all designs. As JoJa15 worked to block off the tunnels in Frontier to stop players parachuting onto the cliffsides, he added a corpse with what was believed to be Brrl's last outfit next to a barrel of toxic sludge. The katana signifying his wiki admin position is found in his hands.
The Easter Egg doubles as both a tribute to xpldnbrrl and as a warning to players that there is a kill zone beyond the rubble should they try to continue.
Cosmetics[]

Developer Shadow Agents[]
There are four Shadow Agents that each reference a different developer.
- Shadow Agent #008—Silk Spider; spiders have eight legs.
- Shadow Agent #015—JoJa15; the 15 found in the username.
- Shadow Agent #081—Rocky Balboa; There were 81 boxing matches Rocky fought in from the Rocky film series from which this dev's name originates from.
- Shadow Agent #618—Dipper; June (6) 18 is the birthday of the series' creator for Gravity Falls from which this dev's name originates from. The number 618 is a recurring number and "Easter Egg" of sorts in the show.
WB Stone Golem[]
The Stone Golem skin made by McLrenSena hides the name of the game in the skin, twice. McLrenSena hid the letters "W" and "B" in the cracks on the back of the head; WB standing for War Brokers. He also spelled out "WARBROKERS" on the bracers in Cirth runes.
User References[]
Silk Spider: HI-SCORE[]
Some of the arcade machines in the arcade in Office display a HI-SCORE (though written in full form as "High Score"). Each of these HI-SCORES are held by the developer, Silk Spider.
Desk Photographs[]
Two photographs can be found on desks in Office and Heist.
Pop Culture References[]
Napoleon Dynamite[]
There is a reference to Napoleon Dynamite on the BR map. It is found on a sign that says "Vote 4 Petro", which is a reference to "Vote 4 Pedro", a quote from the movie.

Dust II (Counter Strike Map)[]
Tribute is a map influenced by and made as a tribute to the popular map Dust II from the Counter Strike series. The loose layout similarities can be seen when comparing the maps side-to-side. There is an unspoken rule of the internet that "if it exists, Dust II will be made for it" when it comes to video games with maps.
Black Monolith[]
Moonbase features a homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey. A black monolith can be seen at the center of the map.
Portal[]
Cyber Tribute includes a couple cubes mixed in with crates that closely resemble the weighted companion cubes from the Portal series. Cyber Tribute as a whole appears to take massive influence from Valve games; already being a parody of the tribute to Dust II (Counter Strike), the exterior walls are reminiscent of those found in City 17 from Half Life 2.
Indiana Jones[]
Tomb's design is reminiscent of Indiana Jones.
Pink Bunny[]
They can be found in Cyber Tribute, and Dead End City. The pink bunny is in both maps; in Dead End City its inside a storage shed, and in Cyber Tribute it is holding a knife in between 2 buildings in the spawn-point.
