WBCOIN

The Coin is currently War Brokers main form of currency that can either be earned in-game through leveling up and completing missions listed in the player menu, buying it with real money via microtransactions, or watching ads. They are fondly nicknamed "coings" by some in the War Brokers community as part of an inside joke with a developer spelling mistake. Coins are spent on crates, which can then be used to get cosmetics for your character, or skin sets available in the shop. Refer to the graph below for more info.

Pricing[]

Coins are purchasable via the Steam store or Xsolla on the browser version. 1 coin is approximately equal to $0.0002 USD, but any purchase above $5 will give you bonus coins. The minimum amount for purchasable coins is 1,000 coins for $4.99 USD, and the maximum being 19,500 coins for $79.99 USD.

Minimum FREE coins[]

Players earn 4950 coins by leveling up to level 100. By completing all missions, an additional 1860 coins is earned with a minimum of 34 coins from spare crate rewards. The code "freecrate" will reward the player an additional Person Crate 2 and earn players another coin. In total, this is 6845 coins a player can earn without specifically aiming to maximize their profit. Players can gain an extra coin if on mission 100, players choose the Tank Lvl-3 as their tank of choice.

Prior to Halloween 2023, crates gave 10 coins if you had everything. This meant that players could get 340 coins (up to 360) for a total of 7150 to 7170 coins.

For the large number of coins players can earn for free, there is a lot of flexibility for players to purchase all forms of cosmetics without paying a cent or watching any ads. Hosting a game on multiple servers is not free and costs money. Buying assets and paying the developers also requires money. Beyond the large number of free coins, players who wish to receive more coins will need to watch ads or pay for them. It's not unreasonable at that stage to be asking for support to keep the game running when the player has received many free coins, and since coins do nothing other than to give cosmetics. There are no advantages such as weapons a player may obtain through coins. The game is strictly against pay-to-win and allows all players the same level of access to aspects like weapons without any wall to allow the most fairness.

Ads[]

Players can obtain 1 coin by watching an unskippable ad. Pressing M to enter Settings and selecting the "SHOP" tab on the browser version will show a "Watch Ads, Get Coins" option to the right of the purchasable coin bundles. A 15-20 second long unskippable ad will play. Players may close the ad once it has finished playing to receive their free coin. (Note that this will not show on steam)

During the Christmas 2020 Event, ads gave 10 coins instead of 1.
