Classic mode is a game mode where players join a team and battle it out on different maps and game modes, including Team Death Match, Package Drop, Capture Point, Vehicle Escort, and Missile Launch. Unlike in Battle Royale mode, players respawn each time they die and have infinite ammo reserves. Player can choose their two main weapons, their sidearm, their melee, and their deployable from the Menu. Players will have their deployable restocked upon respawning.

Matches last for 10 minutes unless a team holds a significant lead. Vehicle Escort lasts for 16 minutes—two 8 minute rounds for each side to escort.

Packages, bombs, and missiles are interacted with via the interaction key (F). Capture points and the tank in Vehicle Escort have interactions based on proximity.

Team Death Match (TDM)[]

Each team gets a point each time they kill a player or destroy a vacant vehicle on the opposing team. Vehicles that have been taken into the field and left vacant will self-destruct if left vacant for too long. Though players may bail out of a vehicle to avoid dying, players risk giving the opposing side two points rather than just one if they are killed separate to their vehicle; helping discourage players from bailing out of their vehicle. The timer will go at 4x speed if a team holds a 20 point lead. This helps to end the round sooner so the teams can be rebalanced in the next round.

This game mode is available on all Classic maps.

Bomb Disposal[]

Three bombs are placed around the map. One team is assigned the objective of defusing the bombs whilst the other team is assigned the objective of defending them from the opposing team. Defending players can additionally reset the progress of a bomb's defusal. Players may view the position of bombs on their maps. When a bomb is being defused, its icon flashes on the map. Team members can work together to increase the speed of a bomb's defusal.

This game mode is available on the following maps: Office and Area 15 Bunker.

Package Drop[]

After a diplomat's airplane gets shot out of the sky, he sends top secret files down in briefcases equipped with parachutes. Each team is tasked with retrieving these packages by bringing them to marked locations on their side of the map. The team gets a point each time they deliver a package. Packages are set to self-destruct after 2 mins to protect the information inside—if a player holds onto a package too long they will die with it. This also stops players from retrieving the package and hiding it somewhere (such as the hidden room in Temple). The round immediately ends if one team retrieves 10 packages.

This game mode is available on the following maps: Northwest, Flooded, Temple, Escape, Southwest, and Remagen.

Capture Point[]

This game mode was released with v165 on June 8, 2018. It has been changed as of v475 on August 5, 2022.

A capture point is placed somewhere on the map—these are identifiable by a flag pole within a circular zone. Teams fight to capture the point by standing within the zone around the flag pole; a point takes 5 seconds to capture. A flag signifies the state of the capture point. Once fully raised, the capture point will earn that team one point every 3 seconds it is raised. Leaving a capture point or being outnumbered by enemies will result in the flag lowering and points no longer being awarded.

There are two timers. One is the overall time left in the round, and the other is the timer for capture point switches. Capture points change location every 60 seconds. The possible locations they may spawn in are influenced by the score (it will spawn closer to the losing side if there is a clear victory for one side).

This game mode is available on the following maps: Southwest, Remagen, City Point, Somme, Moonbase, Area 15 Base, Skull Island, Kitchen, Zen, Cologne, and Tomb.

Legacy Capture Point (pre v475 Aug 25, 2022)[]

Flag poles are placed on various parts of the map. Teams fight to take control of each point by standing within the circle surrounding each flag pole. Upon entering a circle with only a pole and no flag, a flag appears and is raised steadily higher, until it either reaches the top of the flag pole, or stops due to no one being in the circle. Once a team has fully raised a flag, the newly captured capture point will begin to earn them points, at a rate of one point every 3 seconds. The more players in the capture point circle from a team the faster the flag is raised, or if it has already been raised—even partially—by the opposing team, lowered. No matter which team you are on, a flag raised by your team will appear green, and a flag raised by the enemy team will appear red. A round immediately ends if one team has a lead over of 250 points on the opposing team.

Vehicle Escort[]

This mode has each team getting a turn to bring an indestructible Tank to the enemy's side of the map by pushing it forward. Only one player standing near the tank is needed to move it forward, whilst the other players are tasked with protecting that player or clearing a path. The further the tank is pushed, the more points the escorting team gets. The opposing team can stop the tank by defending the tank to stop the enemy team from getting near the tank. This game mode is available on the following maps: Desert, Pacific, City Point, and Kitchen.

Missile Launch[]

Three missiles are placed around the map. One team is tasked with raising the missiles, whilst the other team is tasked with defending the missiles. A partially raised missile will slowly lower if no players are present to raise it. Defending players assigned may still additionally lower the missiles manually at a faster rate. Missiles will be raised or lowered faster depending on the number of players actively interacting with the missile.

The first missile takes 25 seconds to raise, the second takes 20 seconds, and the last takes 15 seconds. Players can't parachute within 100 meters of the missiles unless they are parachuting into their home base.

This game mode is available on the following maps: Desert, Northwest, Pacific, Flooded, Temple, Escape, Somme, Skull Island, Frontier, Heist, and Cologne.
