Enemy in Christmas Events[]
The Yeti was an enemy featured in the original 2019 Holiday Royale as a fast moving enemy. It has since been seen as an enemy with 35% armor; for reference, this would mean five head shots from the AK is required instead of the regular three.
History of Sale[]
The Yeti was not seen as a release in 2020 in the Jolly Yuletide collection. Its next release was instead following the market rebalance for Christmas 2021, and sold for 300 coins under the name "Bumble".
"Bumble" is a reference to the 1964 Rankin/Bass Christmas television special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The term "Bumble" is a corruption of the term "Abominable" from the full term "Abominable Snowman", and is the name of the antagonist, the Abominable Snowmonster of the North. Bumble is seen in Christmas merchandise and even referenced in The Simpsons (Season 22, Episode 8 “The Fight Before Christmas”).
On December 20, 2022, the Bumble outfit was sold as a triggered variant for 1100 with a Santa hat and White Glowing Eyes. The inclusion of another cosmetic separate to the standard outfit and glowing eyes is not something that had been seen before this point. Its inclusion in the overall outfit is for a balance of the pricing; Bumble on its own is only 300 coins, which when combined with the 600 of glowing eyes brings it to 900. As the Heroic outfits with glowing eyes are at minimum 1000 coins, something else was needed to boost the price. The 200 coins of the Santa hat was a perfect addition for the holiday spirit to add without detracting from the outfit.
