Wait, what?

The Briefcase that acts as the objective in the Package Drop mode is a weapon. It is a very peculiar weapon though as players may pick it up and drop it as they wish. Players can't control it through means like clicking to fire it or swing it. It is programmed as a weapon mostly as a means for players to pick it up and give you properties such as running speed; however, it does do damage to players.

It is the only weapon players have access to that can kill everyone, no matter which team they are on. It does not credit a kill to players, but will count it as a self-destruct.

A Ticking Time Bomb[]

The Briefcase has a 2 minute timer on it. This stops players from placing it in hard to reach areas and camping it—or in cases like Temple, taking it to the hidden tomb and leaving it there where no average player will ever find it. If a player leaves it unattended at any given moment for 1 minute, it will disappear and a new one will drop. If a player holds onto it too long or drops it every now and then for periods less than 1 minutes, then the 2 minute timer will tick over and begin a 20 second countdown with beeping before it blows up.

Beeping occurs once per second in the first 10 seconds. The final 10 seconds will increase to two beeps per second. This sound resembles the sound heard when deploying a Laser Trip Mine. The Briefcase has a blast radius of ~4.6m with enough damage to instantly kill those in the blast's epicenter. If a player is holding it at the time it detonates, then only the player holding onto the case will be killed; a case must be dropped to damage any other players.
