A Bot in the Office Map.

During Halloween 2024, some bots were equiped with glowing orange eyes.
General Overview[]
Bots are present in every single match in Battle Royale (BR), Dead End City, and Classic Mode. There are up to 50 bots in a BR match and 2 per team in Classic mode. Bots usually join a server when a player leaves. There need to be at least 2 real players in a BR match for it to start. The limit for a BR match is 60 so if more than 10 players join, the bots will be replaced by more players. There are also a lot of bots in Dead End City, which are especially lethal if you don't have good aim. Bot naming logic was changed in v498 (Dec 2023) and is now consistent across all modes.
Characteristics of bots[]
- Bots either have numeric guest names (i.e. Guest 66666) or randomized names (i.e. DanielTHEblitzkrieg or $Camden$). The latter was formerly known as the Battle Royale (and, by extension, Dead End City) naming system due to its former exclusivity to survival modes. Prior to v498 (Dec 2023), Classic and 4v4 mode bots were all named guest 6###6 (first and last digits of 6).
- Bots will wear either the Default Skin or randomized cosmetics pulled from the legacy crates. Prior to v498, 4v4 and Classic bots exclusively used the default skin and no additional cosmetics (except during events).
- Bots will often stop and turn around when you hit them, and shoot back if sufficiently close. They do not differentiate between weapons depending on distance – thus leading to funny situations such as using grenades at longer ranges. Their loadout consists of:
- AR or AK rifle
- Pistol
- Grenades or Smoke Grenades
