Battle Royale—colloquially termed BR—is one of the four main game modes of War Brokers, alongside Classic 8v8, Speed/Competitive 4v4, and Death Match Royale.
From Halloween 2019 onward, the Battle Royale mode is replaced with the Zombie Royale/Monster Royale, Holiday Royale, and Giant Bunny Royale at Halloween, Christmas, and Easter respectively. Their collective game mode is referred to as Zombie Battle Royale (or ZBR for short).
Servers only support up to 64 entities: players, vehicles, and ragdolls. Of the 64, up to 52 are players that drop out of a plane onto a large map. As stereotypical of battle royales, the matches are a free for all situation where players must loot weapons and gear to take each other on. Players work on their own or with a duo partner to become the last one(s) standing. Pushing players to converge on one another is a closing field of gas marked by a circle on the map. If players take too long, the gas may envelop them to bring about their inevitable death.
If a server fails to queue enough players, the remaining slots are filled with bots with randomized names and avatars from a template.
Pressing Qwill set a marker at the location the crosshair is set at and leave a chat message "Check this out!" to yourself and a duo partner. Similarly, pressing Zwill set a marker but give the message "Enemy spotted!". Players can choose to set the general marker by opening their map with Nand right clicking on the spot they wish to mark. This map method will work in all modes, though will not provide the "Check this out!" message outside of Battle Royale servers.
Gearing Up[]
Players can collect weapons, four types of attachments, armor, healing items, and more. Unlike Classic 8v8 and Speed/Competitive 4v4, weapons do not have any attachments by default (only scopes being relevant). The VSS is an exception. [Attachments] such as scopes will need to be found and then applied by dragging them from the inventory to the desired weapon. Quick looting via right clicking the nearby items in the inventory will apply it to the held weapon (defaulting to the first weapon if not relevant).
All weapons will come with a limited amount of ammunition. Of the different types that can be found, the most common is Light Ammo followed by Rifle Ammo, Shotgun ammo, and lastly Heavy Ammo as a rare find.
Unlike Classic 8v8 and Speed 4v4, players have no natural regeneration in this mode. To make up for lost HP, players must use the healing items scattered around the map. Healing is achieved by right clicking on the item in the inventory or accessing the health pocket from slot 6 of the hotbar. Players can swap out the pocketed item by dragging their desired healing item to the slot. Any new healing items picked up will fill the slot by default rather than go to the inventory if the slot is empty. Pressing 6to quickly apply the healing item is considered the smartest move. Players often prioritize instant effect items for emergencies, while opening their inventory for other cases where they have more time on hand.
While applying a non-instant healing item, a red progress circle will form to countdown the time left to apply the healing item. Movement speed is significantly hindered while active.
Binoculars[]
Binoculars are a special item that gives players access to a far view (though less than the 8x/Sniper Scope). They fill the seventh slot of players' hotbars. While equipped, a player will appear to be using Fists. Their effect is triggered by right clicking or pressing Eas if scoping on any normal weapon.
Before emotes were added, pressing Bwas the unique keybind to binoculars. With the introduction of emotes, Binoculars were briefly considered for removal.
Reviving Duo Partners[]
When playing Duos mode, if you or your partner dies, your teammate will have a prompt above the chat that tells them to pick up their partner's Walkie Talkie.
Players can press Fon the body of their partner or collect the item from the nearby items section in the inventory (accessed via Taband looking in the top right section). If a dead duo partner falls off a high place or rolls down a hillside, the Walkie Talkie may be separated from the body and require players to scavenge for it. Once collected, the revive prompt will change to direct the player to radio stations. Radio stations have a large red radio tower with a solar panel and computer terminal at the bottom. These are often accompanied by a small red building partially enclosed in wire fencing. Since v476, all radio stations are labelled on the map. Holding Fat the computer terminal will ready the tower's radar and temporarily mark all nearby enemy positions, as well as call in the dead partner at a little over half health (187 HP) to parachute down. A Walkie Talkie is not required to use the radar, allowing for players to check for enemy positions at any time.
Gas[]
Gas deals 1-2 damage per second at the beginning. As the circular safe area shrinks, its damage increases. By the seventh circle, it deals over 10 damage per second.
The circle starts outside the map. Once every player has landed it begins to encroach on the players. Some advanced strategies take players through the gas to flank some players. Healing is a very important aspect of offsetting the damage.
Tips[]
- Get as much ammo as you can
- Get as many health packs as you can
- Don't be trigger-happy; it wastes ammo
- Stay inside the circle
- Play to your strengths
But most-importantly...
6. Avoid places where many players drop (e.g. Skywatch Base) if not confident in abilities to avoid the blood bath and an early death

The revolver must be equipped beforehand.
- There is a rare bug that may cause 3 players to be teamed with each other. At the end of the game, a player must sacrifice themselves for the game to end.
