4v4—alternatively Speed 4v4 or Competitive 4v4—was released on February 11, 2021. The mode was intended to act as a replacement to the now removed Competitive Mode. The mode incorporated the three old Competitive Mode maps while introducing its own style of maps: the Paintball Series. These maps make up the smallest maps in the game—this helps add to the speed and ferocity of matches. Similar to Classic, the mode allows the option of selecting your desired loadout to use from the menu.
There are two methods to access 4v4 servers. Players may either join from the main banner on the mode select menu, or may alternatively find the servers listed in Classic Mode's server listings regardless. Unlike Competitive Mode, 4v4 has servers for multiple regions.
