You are comparing a few different things, and basing your data off a few anecdotal instances. For example you're looking at:
The entire playerbase as only community members you know
COVID-19 spike calming down back to normal player counts, not artificially spiked
Discord engagement as player count
You're basically saying what has been said for YEARS: the game is dying. Well the game has continued to thrive and is actually very slowly growing. COVID-19 created a large spike starting early to mid 2020 and peaked some time in 2021 before settling more back in 2022. Some of the players that joined through that peak are naturally quitting and we're seeing that drop as we've come through 2023 and 2024.
Players come and go. That is the natural state of a game. Keeping players for multiple years is not too common. 2+ years is great for player retention and if they quit after that point... look they've been around a while and nobody sticks around forever. Eventually people grow tired and want something new. Sometimes they come back, sometimes they don't.
Bots are not growing. They always were and still are the exact same number they were before. You'll be confusing human guests as bots.
The playerbase is more than just the small bubble in the community you know. Many players have looked at their friend circle that have been around 2 or 3 years. They look at people moving on and because they have never decided to engage with and make friends with the new people, their circle of friends just inevitably shrinks as more of them move on from the game. This is only a sign of who you personally communicate with moving on. This is not representative of the game as a whole.
On Discord, people interact with posts only if they have things to say. If you have a suggestion and there's nothing they really have to add on, they'll just leave a thumbs up or thumbs down and move on. If they don't care then they won't react at all.

We've had a lot of new people join as old players have left. Get to know some of them. A vast majority of them never come into Discord or similar spheres of contact, so some of them you'll only ever meet in-game.
The game is doing healthy.
